Sunday
School for Children and Youth
Sundays at 10:00am
Our
Sunday School currently serves children from preschool through
grade twelve. All children attend adult worship with their
family and friends for the first 15-20 minutes, departing
for classes following the Children’s Story. Infant and
toddler care is available during worship, by appointment,
in our church nursery.
The
Spirit is alive and growing through our Christian Education
classes. Children experience a nurturing and Biblically-based
study program which includes stories, crafts, songs, and
drama. Children are encouraged to participate, share and
learn in community with others, using the one-room schoolhouse
model.
Study for older youth takes place on Sunday mornings between
9:00-10:00. Current Curriculum for this age group has been
the basics of Christian faith with emphasis on the issues
and challenges facing this age group. The needs of individuals
are carefully considered in the development of activities
and study. Summer camps, and youth conferences are opportunities
for youth to expand their horizons and to help them mature
in a difficult world.
Vision
Statement
To keep and dispense the Word of God
to the Ashby area and to the remotest parts of the earth.
To interact with and present the Gospel to people of all ages
and who are forming their worldviews. To engage, nurture and
comfort people as they walk in their knowledge and relationship
with Jesus Christ.
Open

to communicate information about upcoming events in the life
of the church, inspirational stories, and news about the greater
Ashby Community. If you have an article that you would like
to have published in the next edition of our newsletter, please
